Are you a marketing expert searching for a fresh opportunity? An international hotel group with a collection of hotels in Australia, Hong Kong, and Bali is searching for a Marketing Director to join immediately and be a key part of the management team.  

The Marketing Director will manage PR and Communications activities for all of the group’s Bali hotels, ensuring all activities are brand aligned and to maximise the positive exposure in local and international markets across various platforms for the brand. This role will also work closely with senior management to develop and execute strategies that promote the leadership, projects, vision and brand to the media across Hong Kong and Australia.  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing (desired)
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in marketing manager or cluster level, ideally agency or hotel background
  • Proficient knowledge of MS office
  • The ability to be hands on with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business 
  • High level of organisation and timely reporting
  • Strong customer service ethos 
  • Have an instinctive feeling about future product concepts 
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing 
  • Enthusiastic about their product area 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of promotional and contra activities with third parties and suppliers to support The General Manager 
  • Work with the Group Director of Marketing and PR Agencies in contributing to the development of quarterly Communications plans
  • Assist the General Manager and F&B Director in leveraging key hotel events. This will include the development of supporting media liaison, branded content opportunities and media collateral. 
  • Work with the Director of Marketing & Marketing Administration Manager to assist with developing promotions in line with the PR strategy 
  • Manage the launch of new hotels in the Bali region
  • Management of relationships with all Tourism Agencies 
  • Manage daily media relations, media enquiries, site tours and opportunities for the Hotels and F&B outlets 
  • Manage any press monitoring queries with press monitoring supplier 
  • Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage for monthly reports in coordination with Communications Executive 
  • Manage photography assets for the group including management of photographers + briefing documents for any new photo or video shoots 
  • Work closely with Hong Kong Communications Manager for local publicity activity and maintain press clippings and press reporting. 
  • Manage all F&B communications activities and promotions across Bali
  • Ensure the management of all media, promotion and influencer channels and a clear ROI 
  • Utilise all media communication to ensure product updates and releases are circulated across sales contacts for each Hotel, including press releases, fact sheets, brochures etc 
  • Work with the Group Digital Manager to ensure all communications align with the digital function across Website, Search (SEO, SEM and PPC) and Social channels 
  • Content management of all property websites and upkeep of image library 
  • Ownership of the digital marketing budget with responsibility to prove ROI on all spend using insight KPI’s and brand metrics 
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues 
  • Mentor the development and growth of your team 
  • Assign team responsibilities and develop performance standards 
  • Complete and administer performance management reviews with all direct reports
