This role will consist of operating heavy equipment as well as ensuring company equipment is maintained as per the company standards. The perfect candidate will be an excellent team player and have strong attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position, preferably from the manufacturing or mining industry
- Having experience in operating a variety of heavy equipment is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, graders, bulldozers, excavators and dump trucks to lift, move or place materials
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
