General Manager (Gym)

Are you a reliable and ambitious individual with solid experience within the fitness industry? One of Bali’s leading premier martial arts & fitness academies is looking for a General Manager to join their team immediately! The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and possesses strong communication skills.     

Requirements:

• Local candidates only 
• Solid experience managing an established fitness facility/gym 
• Extensive sales and marketing knowledge
• A degree in exercise science, physical education, or business is advantageous 
• A spa/health background is a plus
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and a problem-solver
• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding of financial statements 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall operation of the gym and substantially increase its standard operating procedures across all departments 
• Ensure quality customer service and supervise a team with diverse talents and responsibilities
• Formulate an effective organization system; attendance sheet, hourly cleaning schedule, monitor performance of staff, reward system, etc
• Manage classes and trainers
• Sell and retain memberships
• Ensure all equipment meets safety standards
• Carry out efficient reporting and general administrative tasks
